Q: How much does reupholstery cost? How much is refinishing?
A: It all depends on the condition of the piece and what exactly has to be done. We can provide a fairly accurate estimate after reviewing the image(s) of the piece. You can email pictures or send them as a text message to 973.902.7224.

Q: Do you charge for inspections or estimates?
A: Yes, there is a fee of $35 for in-person inspection to cover travel expenses. That fee can be applied to any future repairs.

Q: Do you guarantee your repairs?
A: All repairs are guaranteed for 1 year

Q: How far will you travel?
A: Within 50 miles from NYC but we always can make an exception

Q: Do you pick-up/deliver or I need to bring the piece to your shop?
A: We can pick up and deliver. Cost depends on whether the item is oversized (sofas, armoires, etc) and number of pieces. For oversized pieces we use outside delivery service. And of course you can always drop it off yourself.

Q: What kind of commercial work do you do?
A: We've worked with theaters, restaurants, lounges, and airports

Q: Are you available nights or weekends?
A: We are available some evenings and Saturdays.

Q: Do you supply upholstery fabric or do we have to purchase it ourselves?
A: As a general rule we do not supply the fabric, but we can recommend a fabric store in your area or on-line. Price quote includes only cost of labour and, if needed new springs, webbing, or foam.

Q: What are your normal business hours? I would like to stop by and drop off a piece.
A: Since our work is done both in-shop and on-site, appointment is necessary. We will be able to accommodate you after normal business hours

Q: I have a piece of furniture that is in need of attention and I am wondering if you can repair it. How do I go about getting a quote?
A: We will be able to provide you with the initial quote after you send us a picture of the piece in question. That quote may change after the piece is examined in person - sometimes there is more damage than any picture can reflect.

Q: I have a sofa that doesn't fit through the door. Is there anything that can be done?
A: Absolutely. Sofa can be dismantled, moved to desired location, and reassembled on the spot

Q: Do you do furniture or carpet cleaning?
A: At this time we clean upholstered furniture only.

Q: Our dog chewed up one sofa arms. We are not ready to invest in a new sofa, and manufacturer told us fabric was discontinued? Is there anything that can be done?
A: In some cases we can use fabric from other parts of the sofa, such as toss pillows or a back panel.
